- Purpose of the Men's Club -
- to strengthen the involvement of the members in the life of the congregation
- to promote a more thorough knowledge and appreciation of Jewish heritage
- to stimulate social and cultural activities among the members and in the community at large
- to train knowledgeable leaders for the synagogue and the Jewish community
Men's Club Calendar
- Sunday February 6 9:30AM-12:30PM World Wide Wrap and Annual Polar Bear Tefillin Photo in the Snow, followed by lox and bagels. This program is a project of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs which encourages Jews around the world to put on tefillin and pray together. Beth Israel will provide extra sets of tefillin and experienced tefillin teachers will be available to assist anyone (man or woman) who would like to participate in this important mitzvah. Following the Shaharit service, participants will enjoy a brunch of bagels, lox, and coffee. There is no charge for this program.
- Saturday February 19 Henry Gershowitz Memorial Shabbat. A congregant led service.

The Men's club undertakes various projects throughout the year. This is a partial list:

- Annual Men's Club Shabbat

- World Wide Wrap -
At this event, sponsored by Mens Club, proper use of tefillin is taught to those not familiar
with this mitzvah. The event has been held every yeat since 2001, and we have pictures from various years.
