Fines
Library staff administers the fine and fee schedules.
All fines are charged per item. Multiple overdue items on a single card are all subject to the daily and maximum fine rates.
The circulation desk staff handles payment of fines by cash and check transactions. No credit cards are accepted.
The Librarian will handle cash or checks mailed to the Library. A fine of $.10 per day will be placed on each material
that is past due. Except for DVDs, which have a $1.00 per day late fee.
Fine for media acquired through Inter-Library Loan may vary,
according to the lending library's rate.
If a CD, audio book, or film is returned with items missing, the library will attempt to contact
the borrower. Fines will continue to accrue on the item until all parts (i.e., disc liner notes, missing cassettes, etc.) are returned and then
the item will be removed from the patron's record.

Renewals
There is no limit to the number of items you may check out, except for DVDs. No renewals on DVDs.
All materials may be renewed once in person, over the phone (734-426-4477) or online, through the
iBistro Library Catalog
(link opens in new window), using your library card # and personal identification number (PIN), then going to
"Renew Materials and Review My Account." You will then get a listing of all materials checked out with your library card and an option to
select materials to renew.
