The Summer Reading Program is open to all children 12 years and younger
Registration will begin Friday, June 13, 2008. The program will run until August 1, 2008. Children may register throughout the duration of the program.
Sign-ups will be held during open hours at the Dexter District Library.
Children will be asked to set a reading goal. This goal can be a certain number of books the child will read over the summer or an amount of time spent reading each week.
Children who cannot yet read may participate with a parent or caregiver by signing up for the “Read-to-Me” Program.
There will be weekly prizes and drawings as well as a Grand Prize Drawing for children who have completed their reading goals by August 1, 2008.
